Goodman Fun Day

Near the end of last year, Goodman had a Fun Day for it's Houston employees. They had a lot of games and activities out for everyone to play, and free popcorn and water bottles. Of all the days, that were still pretty warm and sunny at that time of year, the Fun Day ended up being a cold, cloudy day. We still had fun though.

 Taiko Kaminari drummers came and preformed for the Fun Day. Jared loved that. He started running in circles, which is sometimes his way of dancing. I'm not sure what people were watching more, the drummers or Jared. He was pretty cute and funny.

 This blur is Ryan and Jared going up to have a turn trying the drums.

 There was a volleyball tournament going on. Teams organized themselves throughout the company and then a double elimination tournament was held. Ryan had put a team together a few weeks earlier and though they didn't win they ended up doing pretty well.

 There were a couple families from our ward there. This is one of my nursery girls, Clara. She and her mom are very sweet and were nice for Jared and I to visit with while Ryan was playing.

 After Ryan's games were done we took some time to go around to some of the games and play together. One game we played was disc-golf. That was a little tricky with being about 37 weeks pregnant, having to pick up my frisbee after each throw, so the young man running the game was very nice and followed us through the game so he could pick up my frisbee for me. I'd never played that before, but it was fun. Ryan was the winner. He seems to have a knack for these kinds of things.

 The kids running the games and bounce houses were really nice. They let Ryan get on and play with Jared. Ryan helped Jared climb up so he could go down the slide.

It was a fun morning, but we were all pretty tired by the end. =)
